The Open University Students Association Disabled Students Group
The Disabled Students' Group (D S G) arose through a resolution overwhelmingly passed at Conference 2003 supporting the establishment of a Unit within O U S A that would specifically represent the needs of disabled students. Managed and directed by disabled students, with the express purpose of providing them with a voice and a platform from which to use it, the Disabled Students Group will go some way towards ensuring that the democratic rights of disabled O U S A members are exercised to the full.

The site provides information about disability and how to cater for it for disabled students, non-disabled students, tutors and Open University staff. Discussions with regard to the priorities for the group take place on their closed dedicated FirstClass forum.
